Application principle
High quality vertical flow air flotation machine for water treatment equipmentThe air flotation separation technology is used, mainly for solid-liquid separation. Air flotation separation technology refers to the process where air and water, under a certain working pressure, dissolve gas into water to the maximum extent possible, striving to be in a saturated state. Then, the formed pressure dissolved gas water is released through depressurization, generating a large number of fine bubbles that fully contact the suspended flocs in the water. The suspended flocs in the water adhere to the microbubbles and float to the surface with the bubbles, forming floating debris and scraping it off, thereby purifying water quality.
Add flocculant PAC or PAM to the raw water, and after effective flocculation reaction (time, dosage, and flocculation effect must be determined experimentally), the raw water enters the air flotation contact zone. In the contact zone, microbubbles in the dissolved water and flocs in the raw water adhere to each other and enter the separation zone together. Under the buoyancy of the bubbles, the flocs and bubbles rise together to the liquid surface, forming floating slag. The floating slag is scraped to the sludge area by the scraping device. The clean water in the lower layer flows automatically to the clean water tank through the collection pipe. Part of the clean water is refluxed for use in the dissolved gas system, while the other part is discharged.
